British English and American English have different pronounciations. It sounds like toe-may-toe would be incorrect for British English.

Incidentally, I'm totally with you guys on aluminium. There's no reason to drop the last i.

Generally i only pronounce urist in my head since people think i'm nuts for talking about DF, but You ruh st since heavy accent on the r just seems celtic/dwarven to me. And adamantine would be aa dd uh mah ng t eye .... hey i'm not a linguist damnit, why does it even matter ? :P

To be sure, the correct name of the substance should be "Adamantite".  Adamantine is an adjective, not a noun.

And it's A-da-man-teen.... or A-da-man-tight if you're a stickler.
