Whoa, that's a lot of bugfixes. I'd say this is a pretty stable release. Very excited about the mineral availability parameter.

I also lol'd at accidentally leaving iron chair laying geese in. That was the best.

Time to start a new fort! (/adventurer)

Dwarven blood types are not A, B, AB, O but Ale, Wine, Beer, Rum, Whisky and so forth.
It's not an embark so much as seven dwarves having a simultaneous strange mood and going off to build an artifact fortress that menaces with spikes of awesome and hanging rings of death.

There is a bug in adventure mode crashing everytime you greet someone.

Good work toady, hellova lotta bugfixes.   This is almost enough for me to not go out and pick up my preorder of Pokemon!(Yes I'm 27, don't judge me)

And don't worry about the goose laying iron chairs thing.  It happens.  It just means there will be a Dwarf Fortress .20 <LIMITED EDITION>  floating around.   And it's just a little raw thing too so it's not like it's something un-fixable on the user end.

That's because Pandas eat bamboo only.

My only complaint is that you disabled wild egg-layers claiming nest boxes.  How am I supposed to build an automated wild crundle and elk bird harvesting machine now?

Agreed.  There should be a tag [WILL_CLAIM_CIV_NEST_BOX] or something similar.  That way we can put it on things like ferral chickens but leave it off of... say... dragons.

Cause you don't want a dragon in your hen house.  You think you do but trust me...

You do not...

Do you really believe wild animals would use alien nests reeking of dwarves?

Wild birds use nests made of reeking humans in rl, so, why not?

This might not be the best place to ask questions but currently this thread has alot of traffic so:

Toady,
How fast does grass regrow? This is quite important in determining pasture size.

Another step closer to being able to work on my successor megaproject.

I was thinking of farming iron chairs to supply the crew with, and get the axeblade edge of the ship manufactured by smelting. Geese make a better source of iron than goblin raiding parties. I would assume cooking geese would also result in some iron-rich food.
