Giant benign humans which fly, have a speed of 250, are fire immune, and really large.

Dwarves that excrete liquid adamantium from their pores, and on scratch will release clouds of boiling slade.

If a creature becomes covered with slade dust/droplets, do they get really heavy? does it slow them down terribly? That would be super-cool.

Toady typically doesn't do things by half measures.  As evidenced by turning "make hauling work better" into "implement mine carts with physics".
There are many issues with this statement.

A few recent experiments in modding:

First, the Honey Mustard Badger.  Based on a comment someone made in another thread.  Not much different than a normal badger, but it bleeds edible honey mustard:

Second, I figured out how to make a creature drop a different creature's meat when butchered and created Turduckens.  When butchered, Turduckens give turkey meat, duck meat, chicken meat, and stuffing.

I am also working on magma serpents:  mighty creatures that live in the magma sea, and die instantly if they leave the magma.  Parts of their bodies are composed of highly valuable gems, and yield usable rough gemstones when butchered.  This one is still a work in progress.

I hope the following counts as strange and weird... and not too rambly.

I cloned the bronze colossus, and all the BODY stuff {as *_BREAKABLE (Humanoid_breakable... etc)}. Why? So I could safely modify all the BODY parts to have [DIGIT] tags to assess that as a replacement for [SEVERONBREAK].

Bronze Biggun 1 just kicked Bronze Biggun 2's head clean off after a long {scads of glancing blows} fight. It could have been longer but I gave them natural skills in wrestling, grasp strike, and stance strike in order to keep the fighting under an hour.

The other critter I could easily have stand toe to toe with one {the Flame Bint -yes I was feeling snarky} can last for forever.

"Explain again why you did this?"

Because while fingers and toes came off, even with everything broken open... without an insta-decap the fight could not(?) end with a win for the opponent. They would dance forever presumably.

The Bronze Biggun for example purposes.

Dwarven Science: We do what we must, because, we're bored.

Every few miles, [the dwarves] stop the cart.  One of the dwarfs (sic) gets off, digs a hole down below the dirt layers, licks the bedrock, and then they know exactly where they are.  It's called GPS: Geological Piquancy Sampling.

Literal spider monkeys.
They're like chimpanzees, but they have eight legs, abdomen for a lower body, and create webbing.
Also dorf sized.

Because of the absurdity of one of my projects in Photoshop this summer semester, I am sorely tempted to mod in this:

Odd things that I have modded in:

  • Mad Scientist's Laboratory custom building
  • Intelligent Vermin
  • Fire Extinguishers as a weapon (still ineffective against actual fire)
  • Ghostbusters themed language [SYMBOL: ] entry
  • H.P. Lovecraft/Cthulhu-mythos themed language [SYMBOL: ] entry
  • Spy movie themed language [SYMBOL: ] entry
  • Heavy-metal themed monsters such as Scumdogs of The Universe, and giant lake trolls
  • An ore that has a chance to yield any metal in the game
Say is the ore you modded in by any chance called randomite?
