Several things in a certain speculative community stories thread would be pretty bizarre if we modded them in.

Actually, I developed the augmentations to be compatible with a workshop in Deon's Post-Apocalypse. I have the raws, if anyone wants them.

Iridescent rainbow centipedes with assimilating bites, giant stone octopi, mutant/grafted elves, a sorceress who dissolves into live roaches, world-ending clockwork cthuloids, etc.

I did read the old testament. God/the Angels weren't Lovecraftian, just dicks.

IIRC didn't they have mismatched extra faces and too many wings and eyes, at least as described in the Book of Ezekiel
Yes. They were still dicks.

Lovecraftian dicks

"Ribbed for her pleasure" can't compare to tentacles, suckers, and moving in many different dimensions at once.

Lovecraft's works have always had an element of sensuality and sexuality running along with the horror. Infact, it was part and parcel to the horror, and the fascination with what's *POLITE SOCIETY VERBOTEN*; a sort of "keyhole peepshow" of all the awful, awful diseases, afflictions, and mutations (horrific mental, physical, and spiritual aberrations like enjoying sex) that might come from 'forn parts', like outer space, and Rhode Island.

What I meant was the motives of an Lovecraftian beast should be hard to understand. With God/the Angels, it was simple. God got some kind of sick joy out of being worshiped and was running a cosmic protection scheme, and the angels were professional bootlickers.

I had an above ground garden built in the grounds of my castle and two young dwarves spent time socialising there over the summer and at the end of the summer they were in love. Remember those long summers of your childhood? That first kiss in the gardens while crossbows dwarves shoot goblins above your head? The rain of dead birds as the hunters get to work? Truly Spearhills is a paradise.

God is weird like that in the Old Testament. I guess he realized that being an ominous, terrifying force demanding worship wasn't really working out to well, so he turned over the wheel to Jesus for a while to help PR with the mortals. And it worked out pretty well imho.

Added all usage tags to all materials. Cheese minecarts, blood weapons, etc. I cancel play DF for now, too insane.

Gave every creature [LAYS_UNUSUAL_EGGS] and made a custom nestbox called "toilet" and everything would goto the "toilet" to lay "shist" in which I'd build with it.

Making blocks was fun. then after awhile I realised the color brown all over the place doesn't seem right. But with 10 toilets production was steady

EDIT:
of course things got bogged down when a pesky chicken wanted to lay eggs in my toilets

Since I had to mod colors/patterns anyways for a mod, I decided to make some impossible colors/patterns to go with the impossible shapes.  They can be like the color(s) out of space

description_pattern  (mostly uses impossible colors, but I also have black spots on black!)

Maybe that the dwarves never died and everyone is just shunning them.
"Wait, what are you doing?  I don't want to go in there!  No, I'm still alive, you can't do this to me!  Is Anybody listening?  Hello... Can someone let me out?  Help me!  Is anyone there?  I'm running out of air!"
