That's not great, but I've seen a lot of combinations of spleens and eyeballs that are probably more revolting. I too would rather have liver, heart or kidney that pure fat. Organ meat isn't always bad. Eyeballs and spleens are pushing it though.

Of all the human, elf, dwarf, tentacle monster parts to pick from you pick crackling? You know it's a common food in the Southern United States right? What is it with people dissing food they've never tried before anyway, it seems to be quite common in North America (not that I'm implying you live there).

You mean roasted fat?  No, I live in the southern US (actually the South-Eastern but I know that's the area you mean) and the deep-fried food is fatty, but has some actual substance at its core.  It's usually a chicken bone with a bit of chicken meat on it, but there's something not-fat at the core.

Except for deep-fried butter.  That shit's crazy.

DF fat = fat trimmings = stuff that you cut off meat

DF tallow = rendered fat = filtered product of rendering = lard

This meal is literally pure demon lard, with no traces of meat or skin. I feel sick thinking about it.

I can't stand the taste or texture of animal fats to begin with! An entire dish composed of it would be horrible.
