Next time an elven caravan comes, offer them elf corpses, then make them elf corpses.

You could make it devoid of branches, on account of it being a dead bloody ol' tree. But that wouldn't look very cool.

Begun work on a branch.  It's turning out to consume a LOT of material, not for the branch, but the scaffolding that allows my workers to reach the branch!  It's ironic, that I'm grabbing the nearest material to make temporary scaffolding from, and it happens to be stuff like silver, steel, and adamantine.  The most expensive stuff in my fort is mere scaffolding!

FATALITY!

While deconstructing some scaffolding to make room for a new piece of wall, three units of floor fells.  Namely steel and silver materials.  Caught under the falling material, a peasant of only 13 years was thrown against a wall and died instantly.  A nearby fledgling metalcrafter was also injured badly, with several broken bones and bruising of internal organs after being thrown.  A rabbit and two young bunnies were also lost.

Construction resumes normally.

Three more casualties from improperly deconstructed scaffolding.  A nameless Presser and a Legendary Farmer have died, and a nameless metalsmith is in the hospital with severe wounds.

This very dwarfy construction continues.

Sucks about the legendary farmer.  How's it going?
