In real life, one does not tame crocs/gators so much as one contains and feeds them. A subtle distinction, but an important one. Consider applying the same principle to sharks and it makes more sense.

Frankly, I think it's hilarious that anyone is worried about a 'wild' gator in CALIFORNIA. There is no way one of those things would survive without some ass-hat taking care of it.
Also hilarious that someone got busted for growing weed in CALIFORNIA, where damn near everyone smokes pot anyway... What a waste of taxpayer money, on so many levels. If some stoner wants a damned giant lizard for a pet, let his ass get eaten when he forgets to feed it.

Nice find.

Can you tame crocs in DF without a dungeon master? (who will never come)

Wouldn't work against goblins most of the time, but i guess its a way to keep your cave critters at bay.
