Nooooo, Panda can only eat bamboo.  The moss will KILL HEEM! or her.

So yeah, good luck feeding him, as I believe the bamboo must be fresh... and living...

I can't believe that I paid 1k for this shit without any bamboo. I'm gonna feed him the elves merchants who brought him.

Actually, pandas have been known to crush human heads in their mouths.

That didn't last long, huh? Shame, cause binary's cool. Anyway, an important message: I will be changing my names on every username based thing I use to ASCIt on/around 10/1. Consolidating, I guess you could say.

That sounds rational.  "I'll just hop the tall fence on the other side of these warning signs and grab this very large bear!"

Giant Eagles don't, at least not in my experience.  Buzzards snag food though, I know...  Anyways, just lay some cages around and wait, eventually you'll catch some.  It's just a matter of time really.

And once you get a breeding pair, the main problem is killing them off quickly enough to preserve your framerate... Although it is rather amusing reading about them getting a grip on some gobbo's rear left tooth with their talons, which are presumably about the size of the target's entire head.

Just in case anyone wasn't sure, I'm pretty sure pandas in DF right now simply graze on grass.  My gigantic panda (which is a 5x size panda) seems to graze like every other critter.  According to the raws he eats every 92 turns, which makes him slightly hungrier than a cow, but less than a yak.

*edit* oh crud, the raws do actually tag it as eating bamboo specifically.  Well here's hoping he manages to keep himself fed, I've got a whole mountain side full of bamboo luckily...

I'm sure we'e all seen comparable behavior from Urist McForgottenbeasthugger.

Have them killed. Nothing solves a problem quite as effectively as simply having it killed.

There is a good chance alcohol is the common denominator.

Fun Fact: The warning signs at the zoo aren't actually for your safety.  They're just for lawsuits.  Your decision to jump over or not jump over the gate won't be affected by some flimsy text on a flimsy plaque.  But it will protect the park from being sued.
