Games like Battle for Wesnoth ,and Panzer General ?

I am looking for free strategy games that are like Battle for Wesnoth, and Panzer General. Thank you in advance for any you give me.

While my favorite is WinSP:MBT that has already been posted, you can give a look to :
SP:World At War

It's using a different version of the Steel Panther engine and set to WW2 too (SP3 uses a different scale so it plays differently than the games based on SP2), though i prefer WinSP:WW2 for ww2 wargaming, it's a very good game.

On the same kind of gameplay as Panzer General, you have People's General, using a modern what if setting, it's really excellent, not sure if it's available out of the abandonware websites.

I'd like to see something like a hex-based RTS, but set in the same setting as Erfworld.
EDIT: Looking back, BfW looks pretty darn similiar; but it doesn't include building of troops, alliances, etc.

People's Tactics is a good tbs game. That is the site for the "sequel" which is not free, but you'll find the download for PT in the bottom right.

Thanks for that tip, I've been enjoying that game over my spring break.  Perhaps people can give me some advice on it?
