What am I suppose to do?

So I finally got the point where I have a somewhat formidable force and my leader didn't get shotgunned in the face. Now im not sure what im suppose to do. I go the labs and mess up there stuff, go to the radio and tv places using the mic and stage. Then i rob the corporation of their secrets and find jury evidence of corruption. Nothing is changing though no one is becoming more liberal the laws are still extremely conservative. Im not sure im having any effect at all or does it just take a really long time to see the effects?

Yeah, wait for the elections and judge changes. It'll take a few years, at the least I'm afraid.

So i just need to keep terrorizing the corporations for a couple years, which is a lot of gameplay hours lol.

Well i was doing well until for unknown reasons my save file became completely corrupt :\ very hard to want to start a whole new game.

The error I encounter says
Debug error!
Program path\crimesquad.exe

This application has requeste4d the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

That is its just a Microsoft visual C++ error no idea whats causing it, but its definitly a corruption int he save.dat file for if i remove it  LCS works fine. If i did not make it clear LCS will not launch at all with my save.dat. I can send my LCS save.dat if anyone is interested, but i have no idea what i did differently when it crashed i do remeber changing my expensive suit to another expensive suit because i believe mine was dirty or something it had a (2) next to it for some reason. Then i switched and tried to go to the gentlemen club to find CCS member and BAM crash and now dead forever lol.
