I put a few hundred hours into BDO, mostly just because I liked the nude mods.

Combat is flashy, but it's really just a button-masher. There's no need for any tactical thinking or decision making, or anything to make one fight different from the last.
The world is big and pretty, but there's nothing to do in it except a bunch of quests that amount to 'go kill 5 wolves' or 'go talk to the next NPC in the chain'.
Endgame is a whole lot of grind for upgrades so small that they have no noticeable impact on your time to kill anything, making the whole effort feel like a waste of time.

Far from the worst MMO I've played, but hardly one I would recommend either.

I feel like this description begs the question... what's the worst MMO you've played?

And on topic, EGL's free game this week is InnerSpace. Never heard of it, but from looking at the video & description is reminds me a bit of some old games I loved that never quite caught on as a genre -- e.g. Sky Odyssey from the PS2.

If we're only looking at F2P that I actually tried (however briefly) and wasn't bogged down with technical problems...

I don't remember the name of it, but there was this kMMO I came across a few years after Ragnarok was around with built-in integration to literally like fifteen different social media sites, used that godawful Asian font (that skinny monowidth serif one that makes SimSun's western characters look like a blessing), built in almost complete botting (auto-quest, combat, gather... about the only thing you had to do manually was level and equip stuff), and gave you a free infinite-use 100%HP/Mana pot for your first few sessions. Despite all that, it wasn't actually meant to be an idle game or one of those glorified interactive chatrooms. The graphics weren't bad, if you like Ragnarok-style aesthetics, but they were also a step down. It was pre-mobile so it wasn't built for that market, and, oddly enough, there was practically no cash shop.

It was actually pretty entertaining as a screensaver, but as an actual game... just... why?

Speaking of sales, Deep Rock Galactic is 50% off in celebration of its second anniversary. I know for a fact that it's on sale on steam, though this may extend to other stores too.

It's also on a free weekend, so you can try it out before buying.

The Sims 4 is this month's free game on Playstation Plus!
Without any of its innumerable expansions, of course, but it's awesome nonetheless. Definitely scratching some itches for me, in fact it's what I've been doing almost all day.
The building mechanics seem a bit more robust than I remember them being in 3. I built a pretty bitchin' house...
Not technically a sale, I know, but the month's almost over so I wanted to give folks a heads-up.

Um.

So, Humble is featuring another game bundle. 6 games in the bottom category, 8 in the $average+ category, and 6 more in the top category.

It's all Sakura games.

Correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a while since I ever looked at the Cardcaptor franchise, but weren't most of the Clow Cards monstergirls?

I'm only aware of it because it was on in the afternoon after school, so I don't remember much of it. But I never got that impression.

Quick check suggests most of the clow cards did, in fact, have personifications that were female, with many of them having anthro features. I guess the impression of most of them being monster girls is fairly accurate.

In any case, are any of those sakura games, like. Actually good? Quick look at one seems to indicate they're basically all porn games or something in that direction, but that doesn't necessarily mean there can't be good games involved, too.
