How long have you been playing DF?

Pretty sure this would go in General Discussion, so here goes.

Ive been playing about a month myself. None of my saves have lasted more than a year, as i get so easily distracted.

I've played off and on for at least 2 1/2 years. Lots of fun, though I think only one fort (after initial newb period) crumbled due to non-fps issues.

I started playing when 31.08 came out, and have never been patient enough to worry about fortress destruction. (Only twice have my fortresses gotten sieged. The first time was in my first fortress, the second in my current fortress.)

Well i started playing about april 2009...WOW has it been almost 2 year already? Many fortress killed by stupid ambushes and channel mistakes =P

About a year and a half. I never thought of going on the forums, because I thought the users would be all ''4 Chan-ish'' if you know what I mean.

less than a year, and still learning stuff all the time :)

being an over the road truck driver doesn't afford me much time to play usually.

Not sure, but it was back when DF was in 2D and elephants were the most terrifying creature. Late 2007?
