Right... port all my spells over to Majika while I work on getting my MP back.
End Plan: Have access to both types of magic, since they both have their strengths and weaknesses. And mana pools.

Sinpwn: throw the scrap outside, hijack the ultravan and fly to the Niben Bay.
Kisame: Make a massive Obsidian warhammer.
TolyK: "Calculate best plan of action, get coordinates, and find nearest safe spot." Try to add some obsidian to *my* suit :3 afterwards.
Rent: Try and figure out what everyone is trying to do with this obsidian stuff.  More importantly, whether or not it can be applied to me so I can punch out dark gods of pain and sorrow even faster.
Fuzzy: Examine the interior of the van and speak to the new guy(s).
Japa: Get help from somebody to make an obsidian club or something.
Ragnarok: Right... port all my spells over to Majika while I work on getting my MP back.

Sinpwn:

You throw your scrap out the back of the van, and politely ask George to take you to Niben Bay.

"Course laid in. ETA: five minutes."
(That is to say, one turn.)

Kisame:

You have George pause for a second so you can get a block of wood, then plonk down a crafting table in the corner of the van and craft an Obsidian Warhammer.

TolyK: 4

You use one of 01101's tubes of epoxy to attatch obsidian plates to your HEV suit.

Rent: 2

Unfortunately, your angles aren't as flat as Toly's suit's. Ah well.

Fuzzy:

You look around the Ultravan. There are pods on the wall with little status monitors next to them, which are all blank. The driver's seat, in the front, is on a pedestal with wiring and little microchips on it. The Ultravan is a long rectangular prism, and the windshield is large and square. It seems to be made of some sort of plexiglass, and the walls, floor, and ceiling are made of plastic with a tile pattern in them. There is a doorway in the back, which apparently just stays open. The vehicle doesn't seem to have any kind of suspension. You wonder how many people have fallen out of the back of one of these things. You're probably supposed to strap into the pods.

(You can RP your interactions with Rent and the NPCs)

Japa:

You have Kisame make you an obsidian sword.

Rag: [GM-INTERVENTION]:5

You complete the rituals to regain your original magical ability. You also convert your MP spells to run on majika.

(I thought I'd just let you do it.)

Text:

Steve speaks. "Well, I guess we're along for the ride. I've got to get going after we get there, though. How about you?"
Mirata shrugs. "Well, I'm totally lost. I guess I'll follow along."

Mirata joined the party!

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Thank you, Schil. This should be interesting.

Start practicing to build up the amount of MP/Majika that I have available to the point where that nuke spell doesn't cause me to be magicless until I fix it.

What do you mean by that? Some sort of HUD that tells me how much magic/Magika I have left, or some technomancy shit?

Maybe both?
But mostly technomancy.

What the heck, why not.

If there's any obsidian left, attach some to my power armor. If not, tinker with something.

Convince Mirata to give me some mentants, then carve charms into every non-organic thing.

Rag: Start practicing to build up the amount of MP/Majika that I have available to the point where that nuke spell doesn't cause me to be magicless until I fix it.

Rag: 1 (Sorry rag, can't protect you forever :P)

You start messing with your internal magical processes. You accidentally cause a magical blast.

Roll for damage: 6 (Oh boy.)

You blast yourself into the windshield. Luckily, it is undamaged. You bounce off and...

Roll to catch: 4

... Mirata catches you by the arm just as you're about to fly out the back of the van. You're not too badly injured, but you're in an awful lot of pain.

TolyK: 3

"Unfortunately, I cannot access any TOAST Industries cartographical servers. However, I can provide you with a local scan from the Ultravan's internal E2 ranger imaging systems."

Your suit receives a birds-eye view of the Ultravan and the surrounding area. It is in black and white, and very low-rez.

"I apologize for the low image quality, but the video feed should highlight any entities that are not part of the terrain."

Japa&Rent: 6&5

Rent shows Japa how to use a sword. Steve throws in a few pointers as well.

Japa is now a Trained Swordsman

Kisame:

No.

Dragonshardz: 5

You epoxy on some obsidian plates.

Sinpwn: 5

"Sure. I don't have any use for them."

Wow, this stuff is pretty awesome.

You engrave some protection charms on the obsidian plates on Shardz's armor, and a few various charms on the walls of the Ultravan.

"I have detected an enhancement in the functioning of all the systems aboard this vehicle, possibly as a result of Sinpwn's enchantments."

Fuzzy:

You begin crashing from the mentats you took a while ago.

Ow. Shit. Fracking. Magical. Fail.

Well, at least we aren't using fumble tables.

I would have been nuked by the elemental planes if we'd done that.

NEVER GIVE UP, NEVER SURRENDER. MP/MAJIKA BUILDUP!
