Is there a DF modding tutorial anywhere?

I really want to know how to mod DF as it brings a whole new level of Fun.

(Btw, I know NOTHING about modding. I'm probably going to need a pretty explaining tutorial)

The first post of the first link is for an older version. Reaction-made products have quality now, and reagents in containers can be called for. See the vanilla 'honey to mead' reaction for an example.

Depends on your learning style. I find the forums good for specific questions, but I get a lot out of looking at the raws and chasing things back to the templates.
