My new musical thing is Six Organs of Admittance. It is really awesome guitar-centric vaguely folkish stuff.

Man that's corny.
I would never listen to something like that.
Certainly not.

Passion Pit - Sleepyhead
This song appears in the game "Little Big Planet 2"

Rather ... trippy if you ask me.

I seem to be one of the few here that enjoys electronica. I listen to EBM, Futurepop and Electro-industrial most of the time, and some Blues, Blues-Rock and Indie Rock as well. If anyone here can recommend me some songs (not necessarily in these genres) I'd appreciate it.

Various songs:
The Shankill Butchers by the Decemberists. Nice song (though I'm not fond of the yells when he talks about one's mother), especially those strings in the instrumental and toward the end.
Slam, by Pendulum
Darkangel, by VNV Nation
Chrome, by VNV Nation
Bad Influence, by Eric Clapton
Layla, by Eric Clapton

-snip-
The Decemberist's have a good cover of Elliott Smith's Clementine. It's not the one on Castaways.

Here's the original song. I'd definitely recommend Elliott for indie rock/indie folk. In the same genre I'd recommend The Bowerbirds.

For blues, Jack Rose is pretty awesome but he plays more country blues. If you're looking for classic blues I could name a whole list but for more modern stuff I'm out of my water.
