Sunday night was an exceptionally spooky night with my friends.  Clearing my browser tabs, near Local 58, I came across Knuckles in
Ghost Pumpkin
Good for the Sonic nostalgia I'm sure we all have.  I know I do.

No?
Fine Millennial, have Star Wars Kinect: Ghost 'n Stuff
(at least check out 2:00, this game's concept is so insane I can't believe it's this good)

Edit:  And here's the "Mansion track" which our GM kept playing every time we fucked up in a certain collective-illusion during the Vampire campaign.  Such that we still joke about it playing whenever something particularly... paradoxical occurs.  Whenever we're about to wake back up in the mansion, and the following 3-4 years were just another dream.

It's the track my housemate played outside my door, before hiding in the bathroom as I searched around for the source :P  I love my friends~

A friend recently linked us Talking Heads - Once In A Lifetime, which is... a bit trippy.  Good song, but 1980 was a weird time.  "The drugs were starting to wear off" one of us observed.

Yeah well, Kermit did a cover.  Odd how much *more* natural it seems.

Love me some 80's experimental type rock music, even if it isn't a genre I spend much time listening to. On that note, i'll throw in Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle as one of my top psychedelic 80's songs.

This week in "what am I fucking insanely obsessed with," I've got a fun mix of actually good country music with a smattering of new and old rap:

Midland - Burn Out, with a pretty inspired music video that i'm sure might remind you of your local country bar if you live in the right area.

John Pardi - She Ain't In It, a heartbreaking love ballad that's sure to get buried in the dark recesses of your brain like so many sweet eldritch death throes.

Drake's self-named "playlist" More Life was pretty fuckin mediocre, but it has a few good tracks. One of these is Sacrifices, with a catchy enough hook and pretty fantastic instrumental that's gives it some good staying power, even if the wordplay is subpar.

On his own throne, the boss like King Koopa/
On the microphone he floss the ring (SUPER~)/
Average MC's is like a TV blooper/
MF Doom he's like DB Cooper --

Hoe Cakes - one of my favorite tracks off MF Doom's sophomore album MM...FOOD - has some truly infectious wordplay (of course, it wouldn't be an MF Doom track otherwise) that's sure to delight; that is, unless your cold, cold heart has closed itself off from all earthly joy.

Lastly, POTATO SALAD by A$AP Rocky and Tyler, the Creator is awesome. That's pretty much it, I just like this track. you would think I hate glass homes way I'm handling the rocks...

Loving this album

Generally growing more and more fond of that Retro Wave thing.

Edit:
Also: Space Hero, but it's... Brooklyn??  I'm bad at accents.
It's somewhat Irish, but not entirely?  I think?
