Live a peaceful existence brutally beating passing wildlife to death for his own amusement until a kobold with an adamantine glaive comes around to kill him, as part of a genocidal quest to remove all his fellow megafauna from the world.

WWUD if that same kobold led an ambush squad to attack the fortress?

Try to engrave the floor of the level above so deeply that it shows through on the other side. Instead of his usual tools, Urist chooses to use a pickaxe in order to accomplish the task in around the same amount of time it usually takes to eng-
