Then yay, we might get an actual update with actual gameplay! Possibly! That or we'll get videos of awesomely rendered turrets that do nothing.

Rough announcement, Yolan.  But yes, the Shipyard Editor is going to be awesome.  8)

This looks awesome!
The kind of space games that have ultimate flexibilty, thats everybody's dream, i am sure.
You dont usually see such huge flexibility in games, because it is extremely hard to do, it seems.

In the age of high res graphics, flexibility is hindered by complexity. Minecraft and terraria showed how a age old tech could be remade in modern key supporting all the customizability of the next gen lego like games.

I hope that their succes and the succes of upcoming titles (like this and castle story) of similar concept will draw some AAA studio to the genre.

I hope AAA studios DONT come to the genre.
Especially EA.

That isn't likely just yet.  AAA studios come into a genre when they realize there's a large enough audience base to make a bigger profit than what smaller indie devs expect.  Now, after BR and the few other games of its type come out in fore, they may; but thankfully not yet.  8)
