Currently trying to make magma crab men. So you can train them for war and have ranged attack animal men.

Edit : and my magma crab woman just died in the heat (aka dragonfire). Despite being a being that dwells on magma. Ah the irony.

I also added dragon-based animal men. They are rare and very few will wander to your fortress, but they breathe fire just as well as dragons. Prepare crossbowmen, or catch them !

I have made a new megabeast. the phoenix. Basically a slightly better at fighting giant eagle-sized bird that breathes fire and is immune to it. I can't make it everburning without it dying far too son though, too bad.

Too bad I can't make it ressurect, like classical phoenixes do.

What if you gave them a Resurrection interaction that only affected phoenixes? Would it be possible to make their ghosts use it on themselves?

So does resurrection actually brings back the creature to life as the original creature or does it make the creature undead ?

I could use that new SECRETION token to make the phoenix produce phoenix ash and make that phoenix ash with an interaction...

Modding dragons. Not only all the dragon-like monsters (dragon, hydra, sea serpent) have scales, teeth, bones and nails as strong as iron, but you can use them as lightweight but strong armor.

As dragons are no more glass cannons (and holy shit, how stronger they have become !) and have the equivalent of full iron plate over their bodies, i'm going to mod in a beneficial syndrome in their blood that strengthens people, ala Siegfried.

damn, just fought a dragon in the arena with an legendary steel clad warrior. Even fight, I touched dragonblood, got a syndrome but seemingly nothing more.

Well, since my demon mod seems to be the most popular by far, I will work on improving it. I first intend to add back the rest of the 40d demons, which IMO are cooler and more demonic than most of the random stuff you get in DF2010.

And yes, I will give [BABYSNATCHER] to the tentacle demons. If it doesn't work, an interaction to dominate/weaken the mind of a dwarf should work.
