While I prefer "dwarves", "dwarfs" is fine. What I CANNOT TOLERATE is "dwarfes", because it's ugly.

Don't you mean Dvergr ("Duergar")?

A shame Bohandas has been banned so I can not point out to him that those words are just taking the current Scandinavian (or at least Swedish) word for dwarves/dwarfs (or rather taking the sound of that word) and spelling it differently.

So I'll just tell the rest of you and keep this thread already unnecessary thread going.

don't keep this going. this thread is about the use of the work on the wiki. the wiki is about dwarf fortress. dwarf fortress uses "dwarves". wiki should be coherent with game terms.
