Minecraft would be awesome if it wasn't such a pain to move around and build everything. I'm lazy, I want to supervise people who will build my house for me while I sit at my *marble table* on my *marble throne* and eat my *plump helmet rost* whilst drinking *Dwarven wine* and admiring my *gold statue* that has 5 different gems and 20 different animal bones added to it.

No, they weren't trolled.  Pointing out that apples aren't oranges and you can't really compare the two is NOT trolling.  Even if you disagree and think they can be compared, it is still an opinion either way.

As for my opinion, DF is undoubtedly better made from a technical standpoint and I probably enjoy it more when I can work up the gumption to sit down and actually play it.  But, I play Minecraft a fair bit more.  It is a lot easier to play overall, were Toady to focus on making the interface easier to use and making it more accessible then I would play it more.  I know it isn't a popular request though, so I don't have my hopes up.  I CAN play it as is, but it just isn't worth the extra hassle to me yet.

i saw similar thread on mc forums and there half of the people were like " i like minecraft more because i haven't played DF and  anyway DF sucks because i dont know it"
