Very true. It may no longer be possible to fix them, but it'd sure by nice if it happened.

It's the lament of the community fort. Unless someone's archived this elsewhere, the images are probably dead.

Eh, let's not kid ourselves. Even from before Deathgate had a uniquely large number of broken images, due to questionable choices in image hosts (imageshack, tnypic.net, img.ie, tinypic) - someone even hosted it on their university server. Only about 60% of the images remained the last week I checked.

That having been said, I did manage to restore the photobucket images thanks to this nice guy's website (only works about half the time), reconstruct a local copy of this thread, and make a PDF backup out of it.
