There I was, fighting off helldemons with my minigun, and one drops the demon scythe.

That was more exciting than digging for silver! I should visit hell more often.

By animator animator I mean someone that knows how to animate, not someone that opens flash and applies tweens where applicible. :P

I think your expectations of the 2d format are a little high. Why spend money and time on animations which would be almost purely cosmetic? I agree that some mobs that actually move instead of sliding around would be nice, that actually have some collisions. But to me this complaint sounds like "Well, it still isn't gold-plated!"

Well yeah, I'm not saying it needs to be priority 1 or anything but I'd like for it to happen eventually.

... in Terraria, you can fix this. Gold plate everything -- islands, caves, hell, the sky... all of it. Layer of gold bricking for everyone!

Wait, I've got it. Raise Disney. Use these as pretense to massive gala at disney WORLD. Attract millions with free invitations, then, gold plate them all! Making a massive, gold plated Pompeii. Rename it Midas' kingdom. Auction it off on ebay, buy australia, repeat. Gold plate world.
