I assume the griefing problem stems from the fact that this thread is on the first page of google results for Terraria server, and the third result for Terraria server list.

It also stems from the complete lack of any admin abilities, like kicking or banning people

Servers now listen to all IP addresses on the hosting PC, regardless of how many network connections are active.

Typing "localhost" instead of your own local IP address will connect to your own same-PC server.

The games default port is no longer ELEET (31337) it is now 7777.

If you use Hamachi, you can ban people by just kicking them off your network.
