Singleplayer Pen and Paper Game(s)?
« on: May 23, 2011, 02:37:51 pm »

This is urgent because I only have about (at best) 2 hours to find some. At worst: 1/2 an hour.
Don't bother asking about why, just please find me a game like this:
Preferably an RPG
Preferably requiring only 1-3 six sided die.

PRINT AND PLAY WORKS TOO
SO LONG AS IT DOESN'T REQUIRE TOO MUCH COLOR ON THE CARDS AND SUCH
A good example of print and play would be "Zombie In My Pocket".
Once the time is up, I'll let you guys know why.

Like ZimP, most RPGish PnP's are solo affairs. Expand your horizons.

Oh cool, didn't really know these things existed.

Also, OP, when you have some time, why did you urgently need single player pen and paper games? That seems like it could have an interesting story...

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Why is Chrome telling me that I'm viewing malicious content from "palelaura.broken-sunshine.net" every time I open this thread?

He works for the mafia, and his boss wants to be a DM but his buddies are coming over soon and he doesn't have a game ready. Samio is gonna get offed if he can't get a game ready in time.

Obviously.

Gurps Ultra-Lite is a print and play system that requires 3D6 but doesn't have any adventures designed for it and requires lots and lots of math using the rules provided.

Cypher: Dwarf Fortress? Yeah.
Neo: Do you always look at it encoded?
Cypher: Well, you have to. The image translators work for the construct program. But there’s way too much information to decode Dwarf Fortress. You get used to it… I, I don’t even see the code. All I see is… miner, mason, brewer…

Judging by his lack of telling us why he needed them not only is this correct but he didn't make the deadline.
