Dwarfy acts in other games.

In other video games, be them on the computer or a console, have you been inspired to make a dwarf-like character?
I was playing Oblivion, and I made a nord swordsman who drank beer and was basically a dwarf.

Well, DF community, how has this game changed your life in other games?

Hush little baby, listen to my song,
Mamma's gonna tan you a troll leather thong.
And if that thong don't menace with spikes,
Mamma's gonna kill you whatever you like...

Secret of mana, Watts.
Crafts weapons from orbs you give him.
Now THAT is Dwarfy!

I do think he's a Dwarf.. Since he lives undergound.. In a small town of Dwarves.. Is short, has a beard.. He IS a Dwarf!

Well, most RPG characters I build usually end up degenerating into omnicidal, idiotic bastards who will climb mountains with a backpack full of corpses just to see how they splatter when they land, if that counts.

In any RPG, be they Tabletop, Western or Japanese, my first character is always a battlethirsty dwarf if that is possible in the game. Otherwise I still try to make them as dwarfy as possible.

Shin Megami Tensai Strange Journey: The plot of this game in a nutshell is that a crack team of scientists and soildiers enter a parallel dimesinon filled with demons (HFS), the rift is a black hole filled with HFS because humans kept using the earths resorces,
During the game a soildier named Norris quits to go party with the demons (who were doing !!Science!! with human captives) I can imagine the error report now
Norris StrikeTeam cacels find rosetta: Attending "party"

Does it count if while playing another game, I come up with an idea that forces me to quit that game and play DF?

Bioshock: Damn that ceiling looks nice. I'm going to make my fortress floor look like that!
ZeldaWtrains: Damn that tower looks nice, I'm going to model my next fortress after that! (why wait?)
Oblivion: Man I wish I could pump that magma up...speaking of which!
Witcher: Man I'm lost. Hey, I could make a maze for goblins! Entertainment, Ho!.

"What do you mean I can't put 'learned to play DF' on my resume! Blasphemy!"
