Well, seeing that gender distribution unbalance can be a problem with dorfing, I'll be embarking as soon as I get a decurion. The remaining soldiers can be dorfed afterwards with no perjudice of the story. Any suggestions about what we should be taking?

If we do have max embark points then a fair amount of military gear, a lot of wood, some stone, bronze ores. and then I suppose normal fortress essentials.

BTW you should mod male horses to be war trainable; War Horses!!!

Well, looks like I'll be learning to mod today. War horses, why not.

I'd like a Legionnarie. Any gender, but refer to it as a he in-story.

Skills:
Competent Sworddwarf
Adequate Dodger
Adequate Teacher

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.

I have embarked already, and I'll be using Servash as the leader. I'm currently trying to figure out why the custom reactions won't work out. Do I need a custom building to carry them out, or should they work in the existing ones?

I'm using this custom reactions on reaction_other,
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

and added these lines on entity_default, under the Mountain tag
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Also, horses should be are trainable now.

i checked this, and it's even easier than that.

just take some stupid reaction like "make soap from tallow", delete all reagent tags and all product tags and add your needed tags instead. there's a little error in your tags, they'd crash the game as they are. Instead, use
 [PRODUCT:100:1:WEAPON:ITEM_WEAPON_SWORD_SHORT:INORGANIC:IRON]
WEAPON after the third semicolon, not ITEM_WEAPON.
I'd suggest just counting how many excess items you want and then modifying numbers correspondingly, so you just have to run this once and change it back to soap making.

Right, I'll do that then. Thank you a lot :P I'm really n00b at modding. If this goes well I'll make the first post soon.

Ps: Went perfectly.
