I like Cubchoo. His evolved form reminds me of Jack London's "To Build a Fire" because I'm pretty sure its badass beard is actually just frozen snot.

And yeah, the Ferris wheel. I'm pretty sure this thing is proof that Game Freak is paying attention to the fact that their player base is ten years  older now, because quite a number of your potential 'dates' have dialogue that implies... stuff. This trend continues in the sequels.

Yeah. Evolve Cubchoo at all costs. I don't rightly remember the movesets, but Beartic is awesome to have.

The ones from the old game start popping up after you get the national pokedex. Presumably completing it results in a flood of invasive species or something. As for your other question there are now 649
Continuing with my reread, I realized that that actually kinda makes sense for the older games. One of the things in the Hoenn games was that you lift the Team Aqua blockade and, after the EF battles, the old guy captain of a giant freighter whose weaksauce pokemon you saved (one of the only times when a rescue mission actually pays off) gives you a lifetime ticket. In my rationalization, this would allow for trainers to travel into Hoenn now, and their pokemon sneak off for a little "fun" with the local 'mons. Also, there might be a zebra mussel-type problem.

The Pokemon you get out of that egg is pretty good.
Good luck getting it to evolve though it need a pretty high lvl.

Yeah to elaborate there's a scientist in the postgame in this who mentions that some of the pokemon used to test the device that lets you import mons from Gen IV have escaped, so that's presumeably why Unova became so diverse in the two years between BW and B2W2

Yes, we do.  Monk can do it!

Quicker posts would be better, but sometimes fine writing needs times to age.
