So a lizard guy pretended to be a Badger god's prophet, and settled in Crushedprophet? Total win!

And remember: they were both associated with treachery :D

Amok? Amok?

Oh, so close, just one letter more and it would've been Armok.

But just wait, just you wait, until the legends ark. Toady's keepin' it on the down-low, but I know it's coming. We got a long ling of Fortress Mode improvements, and now a long line of Adventure Mode improvements. Legends is next, I'm telling you.

(I hate how 'until' only as one 'l'. It drives me insane every time I type it.)

He doesn't need a legends arc! Pretty much every update that adds a feature has to have it included in world gen anyway...

Well, to be fair, without legends viewer or a similar utility, actually using legends mode is very cumbersome.  Many of the new and interesting things in worldgen aren't even visible right now.

I find the most amusing part to be, that it says he got his position through popular support... So, people actually chose something that openly represents treachery as their leader.

If he's open about treachery, then he's actually honest.

Do you always look at it in ASCII?

You get used to it, I don't even see the ASCII.  All I see is blacksmith, miner, goblin.

Technically, he wouldn't need to be treacherous at all to represent treachery--he just needs to inspire it in people's thoughts.  Snakes are perfectly honest about what they are and what they do, to the extent that a creature incapable of high-level communication is capable of honesty or deceit as concepts, but people often associate them with lying and deceit due to inherited cultural values and stories.
