how the hell DID he get up there from the caverns? Trolls dont come with giant cave swallows as mounts...

He never was in the cavern. My fortress is down there (cavern challenge lite, kind of) and the trolls came with a siege of goblins. And yes, while the goblins all rode giant cave swallows or jabberers the trolls did not have mounts. During the siege the trolls stayed on the surface at first while the gobbos were awaited by my military in the caverns. After the first onslaught I checked the entrance and found the troll stuck on the wall. Had I not been distracted by the massacre down below, I might have witnessed what happened to him.

Oh goody!

So, recently continued this Old-school D&D campaign I'm running, and the Elven Cleric PC is now officially 'metal'. He's a blue-skinned, white-haired elf dual-wielding Maces of Disruption, decked out in scale mail, riding a dire wolf who is also decked out in armour. And his justification for his every action is "FOR SCIENCE!". My campaign just went from 'awesome' to 'EPIC WIN'.

Italian Spiderman is truly the greatest superhero ever. The stupid American version we have could certainly learn something from this guy.
