Best Non-Professional Warrior Companion
« on: June 13, 2011, 04:28:08 pm »

For me it has to be a Miner, Just went into a bandit camp with 1 miner and there were 9 bandits. Right off the bat I got shot in the sword hand and a spearman came and stabbed my shield hand and I lead the leader away from the miner..... I came back from running away from the leader, to find that my miner had single-handedly killed 8 bandits and the only injury he got was a broken fingernail..... The leader charged at my miner and they started to trade blows. the miner skewered the leaders phallus and the leader bled to death a few turns later. The miner only had a broken toe, broken hand and a broken finger nail by the end.

its cool to start a Human outsider with just wrestling / martial arts skills or just dodging, then earn just enough money so you can buy a pick and then start training mining
picks are basically like spears but... a pickaxe, come on, how much dwarfier can you become?

Woodcutters are also merciless beasts in combat.
