Trap Avoiding and Pressure Plates?

Will creatures that avoid traps still not be effected by traps that are activated by pressure plates?

Creatures with [TRAPAVOID] don't trigger pressure plates either.

Easy rule: any trap that uses the "^" tile is ineffective on TRAPAVOID creatures.
