Looking for group
« on: August 31, 2011, 03:03:36 am »

Accomplished fortress designer seeks succession game for much epicness.

I've been looking, but I can't seem to find any games that are just starting/going to start soon. I've had experience with two of the Sparkgears, but I'm looking for a more traditional 1 year turn game. So yeah, if something is available, please be kind enough to point me in the right direction. If there's nothing, I could try starting a game (dibs on first turn).

But Roadhouse is a true masterpiece. Seriously.

feel free to join Flash Freeze! the link is in my sig! It's basically a glacier with wild zombies and blizzard men that are pretty much relentlessly trying to kill every last filthy dwarf on the planet. Nothing interesting...*head explodes into gore*

You could also try joining Frozenvictims. It just started, but it's a terrifying glacier, so...

Funny, I forgot to mention that my fort is on an evil glacier!

Yeah, looking for something less established. Like I said, my strengths lie in design.

if you're up to the management task, you could always start your own.

Yeah.  Thus why I didn't make a trap.  In it's current state the fortress didn't need a trap, the whole damn fortress is a trap.

Yeah, I think I'll start one. Cooked up a new .25 world last night, so once I find a suitable site I'll start a succession game. Essentially I'll be laying out the design for Roadhouse and then seeing how badly it goes when I let go of the reins :D
