Decompressing Saves?
« on: June 23, 2011, 12:49:45 pm »

Hey there,
I understand that one can view the RAWs of various demons by decompressing their save. How is this done? And what exactly does it mean to decompress a save?

You turn compressed saves off in your DF inits, and then use the export function of something like/similar to DfWorldTinker

Not sure if you can just turn it off, and then load up a world and save it again to give you an uncompressed save. Thus you might have to gen a new world to get some Demons, Titans, Forgotten Beasts, and Night Creatures to gawk at.
