Calling all amateur Threetoes!

Have you ever wanted to write a story about a DF world like Threetoe does? If so, this is the place to do it! You don't have to analyze your story if you don't want to, but it is encouraged.

I'm going to be blunt: Analysis should be shorter than the actual story; The stories should be bigger.

Keep writing them. Just, you know, bear it in mind.

Why?

I'm not planning to contribute at the moment, just curious.

Because it transforms the story into a suggestion with a starting fluff text.

So? Aren't Threetoes stories essentially just dev notes with 'fluffy text'?

Keep it up GreatWyrmGold! Feel free to analyze all you need to analyze :)

Interestingly enough... I don't think so.

My impression on Threetoe's stories: He writes out a fantasy story. Interesting, but nothing special there. Then it's analyzed for features that could/should be incorporated into DF. This gives a more natural way for development, as it draws on general impressions of this sort of setting.

That being said, there's no real reason to set length for these here. Obviously, for these mini-stories, the entire process is going to be a bit different from Threetoe's. It's still a great source of inspiration, and it's entertaining. Analysis can be as long as necessary - a lot of information can be drawn from a small bit of text.

And keep it up all you want! I'm reading them right now - they're pretty interesting. Good work!
