This gem of a story just updated after a 3-year hiatus, and I am in tears.  The Life and Times of Reginald Goblinstomper, Elephant at Large.  One read through has me convinced that it deserves to never be forgotten.

Speaking of Doomforests, it currently lacks any kind of description whatsoever. now we could argue over what to put there, but let's simply, for now, use what's found underneath the main title of the thread
