One thing I've noticed, it's very difficult to tell what menu item I am currently hovering over with the wasteland colours, as they're too close to each other.

What colors would those be specifically? I haven't played with it yet, I expect fixes to be made for it lol.

I can't tell which option I've selected in this picture. At least, not without squinting harder at my screen than I'd like. I believe the colours in question are the two whites on the bottom right of this image.

Just stopped by to say that these are amazing and I will never be able to play DF again without them. Thanks!

Vherid, do you use Kuler (http://kuler.adobe.com) for choosing colors? Or choosing colors by analogous / complementary / triad etc. rules? It could have interesting results, for overall colour harmony impression.

[edit]

Using swatches library from Adobe Illustrator also gives interesting effects. For example one of "baroque" swatches:

Code: [Select]
[BLACK_R:20]
[BLACK_G:20]
[BLACK_B:14]
[BLUE_R:22]
[BLUE_G:68]
[BLUE_B:64]
[GREEN_R:152]
[GREEN_G:149]
[GREEN_B:73]
[CYAN_R:57]
[CYAN_G:74]
[CYAN_B:47]
[RED_R:137]
[RED_G:54]
[RED_B:14]
[MAGENTA_R:166]
[MAGENTA_G:94]
[MAGENTA_B:5]
[BROWN_R:203]
[BROWN_G:163]
[BROWN_B:69]
[LGRAY_R:78]
[LGRAY_G:85]
[LGRAY_B:55]
[DGRAY_R:55]
[DGRAY_G:60]
[DGRAY_B:39]
[LBLUE_R:38]
[LBLUE_G:119]
[LBLUE_B:112]
[LGREEN_R:203]
[LGREEN_G:202]
[LGREEN_B:97]
[LCYAN_R:96]
[LCYAN_G:124]
[LCYAN_B:80]
[LRED_R:188]
[LRED_G:74]
[LRED_B:19]
[LMAGENTA_R:217]
[LMAGENTA_G:123]
[LMAGENTA_B:6]
[YELLOW_R:254]
[YELLOW_G:204]
[YELLOW_B:86]
[WHITE_R:255]
[WHITE_G:252]
[WHITE_B:227]

Is there some editor to make changes to colors.txt quickly? Editing it by hand is a tragedy.

[edit]

And yet another one, this time with a dark feeling from "renassaince" swatch:

Code: [Select]
[BLACK_R:20]
[BLACK_G:22]
[BLACK_B:17]
[BLUE_R:60]
[BLUE_G:66]
[BLUE_B:79]
[GREEN_R:72]
[GREEN_G:89]
[GREEN_B:62]
[CYAN_R:66]
[CYAN_G:102]
[CYAN_B:125]
[RED_R:139]
[RED_G:101]
[RED_B:68]
[MAGENTA_R:143]
[MAGENTA_G:83]
[MAGENTA_B:69]
[BROWN_R:83]
[BROWN_G:70]
[BROWN_B:56]
[LGRAY_R:124]
[LGRAY_G:134]
[LGRAY_B:117]
[DGRAY_R:77]
[DGRAY_G:83]
[DGRAY_B:72]
[LBLUE_R:93]
[LBLUE_G:143]
[LBLUE_B:176]
[LGREEN_R:113]
[LGREEN_G:139]
[LGREEN_B:98]
[LCYAN_R:93]
[LCYAN_G:143]
[LCYAN_B:176]
[LRED_R:190]
[LRED_G:138]
[LRED_B:93]
[LMAGENTA_R:194]
[LMAGENTA_G:112]
[LMAGENTA_B:94]
[YELLOW_R:134]
[YELLOW_G:113]
[YELLOW_B:91]
[WHITE_R:238]
[WHITE_G:222]
[WHITE_B:174]

[edit]

And another one... This time "medieval":

Code: [Select]
[BLACK_R:21]
[BLACK_G:19]
[BLACK_B:18]
[BLUE_R:0]
[BLUE_G:56]
[BLUE_B:74]
[GREEN_R:79]
[GREEN_G:83]
[GREEN_B:32]
[CYAN_R:47]
[CYAN_G:66]
[CYAN_B:54]
[RED_R:99]
[RED_G:40]
[RED_B:34]
[MAGENTA_R:121]
[MAGENTA_G:70]
[MAGENTA_B:26]
[BROWN_R:66]
[BROWN_G:48]
[BROWN_B:24]
[LGRAY_R:131]
[LGRAY_G:116]
[LGRAY_B:91]
[DGRAY_R:80]
[DGRAY_G:71]
[DGRAY_B:56]
[LBLUE_R:0]
[LBLUE_G:94]
[LBLUE_B:125]
[LGREEN_R:127]
[LGREEN_G:134]
[LGREEN_B:51]
[LCYAN_R:83]
[LCYAN_G:116]
[LCYAN_B:96]
[LRED_R:149]
[LRED_G:61]
[LRED_B:51]
[LMAGENTA_R:171]
[LMAGENTA_G:100]
[LMAGENTA_B:37]
[YELLOW_R:194]
[YELLOW_G:139]
[YELLOW_B:71]
[WHITE_R:182]
[WHITE_G:161]
[WHITE_B:127]

There can be many interesting options by using those swatches or kuler, if only editing colors.txt was comfortable...

Yeah some interesting Ideas I'll definitely play around with that stuff I have been aware of kuler for a while just haven't thought of using it for DF and such

Any chance of a TrueType version of this? I'd love to use it for playing over telnet.

Very slight fix to the armor stand going into the ramp up icon for 8x8. Also it seems that the forums have forced all my images into a lower quality, however copying or saving the image will still give you the full quality version.

I really like this tileset, I see talk of a 12x12 version but I can't find it though.
Is that still available?

Eh It was an older thing back when I only had the 10x10. I made it, didn't really like it, it was shittier, etc got rid of it for now. I'd have to remake/make a new one at this point anyways, I might do so.

Any chance of you making a 16x16 tileset that looks like the 10x10 one you made? I would really love to see that happen.
