I don't really know how to fix the budget without raising taxes, lowering popularity and such.

My really simple and probably useless suggestion is gain popularity.  Sacrifice newly gained popularity for some slightly raised taxes, rinse, repeat.

I hope this doesn't completely destroy you, in a nation-wide tantrum spiral. 

That's a pretty good idea.



We go to check who we can surgical strike without fear of being nuked back to the time before history. Iraq looks like a good target.
