Hmm can natural disasters happen in this game?

Or is this the world where AMERICA managed to defeat one of its oldest enemies... mother nature herself?

Anybody planning on starting a new let's play?
I have not ended my Let's Play, not be a long shot. I am just taking a break since I had just fought a long world war, took down two Great Powers (USSR & China), annihilated two ideologies (communism & centralism), got reelected again, and have witnessed the start of a new Cold War (Capitalism versus Nationalism). I plan to resume in the next few days.

Yes, there are natural disasters.

Here is the link to the UGE files for Shadow President. Included is the UGE program itself: http://filesmelt.com/dl/UGE-shadowp.7z

Quick question for anybody who has the answer, if you give a country a ton of nuclear aid will they build nukes or just waist it on an energy plant and not develop it any further? I really want to get Turkey and Canada nukes ;D

They'll build nukes as if they were funding the program themselves.

So does this mean if I send President Mubarak a sizable military & nuclear aid package, Egypt could end up building nukes which could potentially put additional pressure on Sudan?

That would probably be a bad strategy. Egypt is going to have to go down eventually. Democratic Islam is not Capitalism, Zionism, or Developing Capitalism, so it is ultimately against our interests.

Hmm... what if I made sure Egypt's nuclear weapons level only got as high as "Regional", not "Macro-Region" or "World Reach"?

Your WTA is everywhere these days. Egypt could nuke any of them in retaliation for your actions, which would leave both your nuclear armed allies and India none-too-pleased.

That is true... but if Egypt dared nuke one of my allies, it would be a case of T.A.D. aka "Their Assured Destruction". Experience showed me that it only takes twelve nukes to obliterate the entire nuclear arsenal of a regional nuclear power. All my tests with India have proven that; plus my Press Secretary usually does not resign for my dropping 12 nukes on India. And Israel, who is a regional nuclear power, could easily take out Egypt's arsenal for me, especially if they are the ones who Egypt nukes.

I think I will let democracy decide. I sent a request to AoD asking for a new poll regarding Egypt.

I don't think it's worth it, sometimes unpredictable things can happen if a nuke is launched from my experience.  Even if it is T.A.D. for Egypt, it can result in something crazy like France nuking Jamaica lol. France likes to launch their nukes in this game ;P

Then in that case, I better hope the fallout does not drift to France.

Honestly from all I saw they are like the game's secret villain.

With Russia just being the most obvious one.
