Kindletours - a flying silver city
« on: September 03, 2011, 07:45:33 am »

As promised in my old thread with HMoM inspiration (http://www.bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=61010.msg1383642#msg1383642), then my next fort is based in wizard's flying cities.
So I have taken the liberty to create the thread to show off  :D, but also to keep a log of any further progress in Kindletours.
The map is uploaded on DFMA: http://mkv25.net/dfma/map-10688-kindletours-silvercity

Kindletours was started during the Christmas last year, where 7 dwarves started to dig in circles. 21 dwarven years later the main citadel and outer ring is floating above a mostly leveled cavern floor.
It is from a vanilla .18 now in .25, and it has been challenge the early years to keep the fort alive without magna, iron or coal.

I plan to polish the fort from now with small enhancements. (If I stay in the HMoM mode, then I guess the next fort will be a necro fort in the next DF release.)

Bonus points if you make titans and gremlins tameable war weapons.

Impressive. Though I'd like a Wizard Tower from HoMM III better. :P
