Send letters to the surrounding clergy and request that they discourage their lords from warring upon us; are we not all brothers under Christ?

Inspect geographical location for weak points, spread word of the coming attack to the surrounding areas and request for aid. It is better to be prepared then sorry.

Ensure our stores are well stocked for a siege including food, water, ammunition, and other supplies.  Also, keep an eye out for spies that might open the gates to the enemy.

Question to GM: Do we need to provide everything for the castle or can we assume basic supplies are already at hand?

And could we ask questions in the middle of turns? If not, disregard this.

Everything is provided by the peasants, except weapons and ammunition, and meat, and the things you get from fairs(I'll show that in 2 turns)

EDIT: You know the thing I said in the OP about I won't be posting if someone in my family is dying? Well, that's happening. My mom's uncle is pretty close to kicking the bucket and I'm going with my family to Texas to have a last dinner with him. I'll be offline for about the equivalent of 2 days in GMT-5 time, which is EST in America and not EAT.
