SPIKY WORM THING BY SHOOK:

OHMIGAWD, SOUNDS GREAT FOR ORTHOCLASE!

Shook, would you be willing to make Spiky Worm Thing with front and back sprites?

It shall be christened as 'SHOOKLE', after its artist, Comrade Shook.

Could you please upload that Cortex Command unit on the first page, I would like to add it to my ever growing mod pile.

Way ahead of ya. :P
I've also made other mods in case you're interested. These two packs are also relevant in a pixely sense since i made the vast majority of the sprites myself. (the third one above had significant amounts of help from others)

@Ehndras: Thanks! Also, glad to hear that. c:

@New Guy: I guess that's acceptable. :U

HRNRHRHNG those are great. Have you ever made a platformer? I think your art style is PERFECT for a retro-style pixel platformer game (especially in the style of Treasure Adventure Game or Cave Story).

How about drawing more backgrounds?

By the way, your weapon mods for Cortex Command are both incredibly overpowered and incredibly awesome.

Overpowered? Hell yeah! Balanced guns are neat and all, but nothing says "FUNNEH" to me like a gun that fires angry spiralling rainbows that shoot out bullets and rockets and grenades and explode into sharks and burning electric guitar rains. Also backgrounds?

aughaghgahgahg

Backgrounds kill me. They're reserved for the more ambitious of my artings. Speaking of ambitious...

NOW WHAT COULD THIS BE?

POST SCRIPTUM: Oh yes, forgot to respond to McFreeform, sorry 'bout that. First: Thanks! Secondly, not yet, but it's on my to-do list for this life. Angry Laser Space first, then i can contemplate on the art style of Sketchwobl (which will likely be a platformer-shooter-brawler thing), that is, whether it should be doodly or pixelly or anything in between.

You should make a gem launcher for C.C. Have it spit out reflective gems at high speed. Also, your zero-division cannon nearly crashed my computer!

Some of these look like ones I have seen in cortex command mods, am I mistaken?

Indeed. I can without hyperbole say that i've made hundreds of custom guns, dozens of bombs and a handful of usable actors. So yes, some of the sprites in here do indeed come from Cortex Command.

@Mika: Whoopsie.

:U

AHEM, gem launcher, you say? That's actually kind of a funny idea. Or maybe a GEM RAIN FROM ABOVE, so people will stand underneath, hoping for infinite wealth, and erroneously assuming that their skulls won't explode when struck by a huge gem moving at terminal velocity.

also trollface.jpg

I don't even know why i'm throwing out teasers about it. Possibly because it's one of the very few large full-body images of anything i've made.

Well then, have something MORE BLUE!

GREAT FLAMING ASSTEROID blue. Spawned when my train of thought headed to "AIGHT YOU GET 3 COLORS AND 1 HOUR TO DRAW A GREAT FLAMING ASSTEROID CRASHING DOWN ON A SERENE LAKE"-ville. Naturally, i go for the bleak and melancholy palette you see, just to fuck with people who have (reasonably) come to think i only make happy joyous things. :U
