I have a new save for anyone wanting to play with it.  I've rebuilt the Hammer of Armok a little:  It now rains magma into the impact site and, if i can get it set up right, will automatically drop water afterwards into the magma-filled area to obsidianize anything having a nice red bath.  The lever that drops the hammer's up on the level below F2 in a corner of the dining hall.  The controls to the floodgates letting water and magma into the Hammer are at level z-119, just north of the hammer.  The left pair control the hatch on the left and the floodgate at the pumpstack.  The right pair control the magma tank and should be obvious.  The middle one is going to control the left floodgate for the water tank.

The pressure plate isn't hooked up at the moment as I'm still flooring over the water containment area at the top of the hammer.  And yes, i realise what the shape of the whole thing looks like to the juvenile-minded
