Low reject seeds for v0.27.176.38b

The world generates very fast compared to a full 257x257 map.

Try generating a 17x17 world! It gone in about 3 seconds, and unloads almost instantly! Very fun to mess around in adventure mode.

I've tried to generate 17x17 worlds, but get nothing but rejections (like, thousands before I give up).  Same thing with the 33x33.  I find if on of the dimensions is 257, then I can get a workable map to test my mods on.

I just tried a random 33x257: 3 rejections.

I generated a couple 17x17s and 36x36s, I'm finding the smaller map sizes to be easier to get into than the full sized maps.  It feels like your fort locations are put into a more definite context,  I think the smaller sizes are more suitable in some way for storytelling, etc.  

You feel like your choice of fort location puts you into a definite place in the world.  Before I just looked for a location with good stuff and felt like my fort was a speck in a large ocean, now it feels like I'm creating a place for myself in a vivid world;  Anybody else notice this?  I can't quite pinpoint the reason.

I'm wondering if mods affect the generator.  I made an adjustment to the mod I'm currently working on, and the 11764874 seed I posted doesn't generate with only 3 rejects anymore.

seeing as patches change the no of rejects, if your mod mods enough of the world it probably would too.

That's what the 17x17 worlds were made for  :D
