I like how Malfoy was supposed to be a friendly NPC and they stonewalled him. Never really looked at him that way.

Actually interestingly in the original books Draco Malfoy started off being Harry's friend. It was only when he started to insult Harry's new friends that they started their bitter rivalry (and probably only REALLY disliked Harry Potter because he slugged him back)
