I'd probably try a season of danger room training, to see how maxed stats changes impact rating.

This. I was going to suggest that maybe they're surviving higher drops now because they've spent time farming, getting skills, and raising stats.

Well only a few of them have done any farming, brewing, and gathering.  The majority of them sit around in their 1x1 rooms.

If I may,
"Your left arm takes the full force of the impact, shattering the bone through the organic armormetal left gauntlet."
This confirms that fall damage at least recognizes armor, I am unsure how much it helped, this was from a 4 Z-Level fall in Arena.
EDIT:
Yeah, I am pretty~ sure armor affects fall damage, I dropped two of the same creatures, one with armor from 4 levels, one had mostly bruising a few broken bones, the other was.. well, mangled would be the word for it, proceed with the science!

Try dropping a creature that is wearing a steel or addy breastplate and greaves. Read the combat report.

Hey guys, sorry about the delay in updates - college has been kicking me arse lately.  I've started working on the next update though, I hope to have it done sometime today.  If not, hopefully tomorrow.

I'm sure no one meant any harm or insult to the actual victims or families of victims of WWII.  Myself included, even though I've based Dr. Logum off of one of the most infamous doctors during that war myself.
And if those people are harmed or insulted?

I am trying to make chickens lay bees as eggs. So far it only produces a single "Tame Small Creature" when a hen lays bees.
Honestly at the time, I didn't see what could go wrong with crowding 80 military Dwarves into a small room with a necromancer for the purpose of making bacon.

As a ghost myself and having suffered bisection previously on no less than three occasions, i have to say that your practices are utterly inethical, amoral, un!!SCIENCE!!tific and plain cruel. When i manage to find someone worth possessing i will report this to the mountain homes, requesting that you be tried for crimes against Dwarfanity for not having a seperate experiment involving ogres and goblins!

Subject 29 is grumbling petulantly, possessed by Wannazzaki.

Well, I'd have to offer my sincerest apologies to 'em, as I meant no harm with this experiment.

You've inspired me to pick DF back up and actually try out the medical system! Waiting patiently for the next update.

I hope the delay is because of school and not because somebody got offended.. this story is too good to end over something like that!
