Yes, it could very well be done. It would only take a little bit of modding. Hell, you could probably just paste the DS raws over the pony ones, as the pony entities and creatures are in separate files than the normal creatures  ;D

But we'll have to wait for the update to finally arrive.  :-\
Yep, but with the addition of that, your mod could be the best thing ever. Imagine, a swarm of infectors flying into your fortress and skullfucking all your dwarves into slashers...

Dwarf Fortress material right there, folks...

And yes, it would be awesome. The ponies would still have to use the space weapons though, because of the necromorphs being methheads with shanks and PCP  :P

But yes, it would be fun to have a few infectors climb up the wall and start an outbreak  :P

The infection would be culled by a single rock farmer, equipped with rock-slide-proof armor.
