If they were friendly they very likely wouldn't be coming in a large group. I now count seven of them.

Wake the others, Phalanx as Johnfalcon suggested.

Tarran has the "Tarran Bug", a bug which causes the affected character to repeatedly hit teammates while dual-wielding instead of whatever the hell he is shooting at.

Village:
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Everyone wakes up and franticaly reaches for their spears (Excluding Picky who feels more comfortable using her pick).
Franz anc Rolf run to the log wall to try and stop the slimes climbing over it while Jaian and Chloe move to run around the wall and flank the slimes. As Rolf's spear pierces the first slime's thick outer-membrane it begins to slowly bleed a thick green sludge and deflate slightly as it tries to scale the log wall.

Rex
and Arete stand near the pile of spears ready to rain down wooden death onto their foes(throw a few spears at them) and Picky and Hans watch the hills and plains for signs of more enemies.

Weapons:
 14x Wooden Spears
 10x Fire-hardened wooden spears

Tools:
 1x Hatchet
 1x Hammer
 1x Pickaxe
 1x Shovel

Construction Materials:
 1x Pile of sticks
 25x Dry Bricks

Food:
 9x Large red berries
 3x Small red berries

Misc:
1x Bird nest(with 2 eggs)

Population:
 5 Peasants
 1 Woodcutter
 1 Clayworker
 1 Fisherman
Total: 8

Fine then.

Line up against the Log and stab them as they come up.

hum, i'm getting a bad feeling about the orange blobs... do not hit them from melee, try to hit it from afar with a thrown spear, with everyone at a safe distance

Keep up the current plan, but keep everyone on this side of the wall, and have those who are flanking help hold the slimes on the other side of the wall.

(Is there no moon at all, or what?)

Oh yes, One thing.

Keep two men looking toward our flank and Behind, in case enemies come from other directions.

There is a moon I just forgot to draw it in.

Hmmm... that sounds reasonable... but I think the more likely explanation is that it's a ninja moon.

As it turns out, the pen was in fact a poor choice for melee combat in comparison to the sword.
So I just started playing this game and I accidentally nuked the moon.
