Take the log within the moat and stab the Jaian with it. Craft a weapon other than a spear from the logs. Maybe a sword or shotgun that fires acorns or something.

Have the woodcutters stop chopping at trees, and have everyone work on the wall, by piling and strengthening the dirt, or rolling logs into place, thne securing them down.

Picky should remember that the bridge is not a permanent structure and can just be removed at night. She should build a guard tower instead.

Also, Franz and Jaian should really stop cutting down trees and instead drag the stuff they've already got into the base.

Ummmmm... why aren't we building a wall out of wood or the bricks yet?

So many people voted for it two updates ago.

Because that would leave us with a wall that barely covered half the village and also use all our construction materials?

Not much good having half a strong wall, is there?

You haven't played enough defensive games. It's far better than having none.

Half a wall equals a halved area we have to defend.

Half an area to defend equals twice as many people to defend the area that needs defending.

Which means, obviously, less potential casualties.

If it melts and harden we can definitaly use as a kind of glue.

Hans should stab things for his thirst for  Retribution is unquenchable. Have the digger continue digging moat. have 3 of the peasants build a wall using any resources they can except the bricks and some planks which shall be used to fortify the bridge. Have the builder move the wester bridge to the north and use bricks and planks to make a bridge/gate house. have the clay workers mave some bowl/buckets/pots one molds the receptecle and the other fires it in the kiln. the fisherman should catch another fish. the last peasant should build a smoke house out of sticks clay and leaves
I'm going with this minus the retribution part.
This.
This

It said except the bricks and some planks and in my tired state I diddn't see the some part so i went with the dirt because there is so much of it around and it's probabley good enough for a temp wall anyway.

But we don't have no wall, we have a dirt wall. And if it gets breached, we could also have strong, well built, houses to fall back to and defend.

It all depends on whether we can get a proper wall up tomorrow as well, we cant just be thinking about tonight, however close it is.

What is the point of a defensive wall if it's made out of something crappier than a house?

Why not make the house the wall instead?

Walls should be made out of the strongest material in my opinion. Because if something can break down a wall wall made out of our strongest material, NOTHING ELSE WILL STOP IT. Whereas if we made the wall out of a poorer material, and something small and weak could break it but not the bricks, we'd be trapped in our houses when we could've been out in our fortified area.

The dirt wall is crappy. That's not what we were talking about, were we?

We were talking about what if theoretically we used bricks and wood for half wall. Not about our current wall.

I don't think we had enough time to build a brick/wood wall, and we certainly don't now. We should finish what dirt we have left and build more sentry fires/spear walls if you think we need them.
