We can expand later.

Create additional fired bricks and construct more brick walls.

We need way more food than that. Our stock isn't going to last a day.

I suggest that Hans should lead a few men to hunt/capture Greater Jaians.

We can always smoke the extra meat, or turn them into jerky. Unless it rains they would not spoil.

Sounds good.

I would also suggest building a sort of "fish larder," but it involves using bricks, which is controversial. Besides, we would need lots of vinegar and salt.

Did covering that little ball of clay use up all of the orange slime, or is it sitting in a pot not listed in the inventory?

I just added it to the inventory, i'll deduct an amount of the glaze that i think makes sense for each of the items you use it on.
I might also add a crafting materias section in the future.

you could extend the screen down a bit so you show the entire moat and the entirety of the village perimeter.

i don't think we need a wall. yet, defending the city has been easy enough, and we really don't have any means  of attacking any incoming enemies through a wall with our spears. i'd say we build a defensible sleeping hall, more comfortable than the shelter and with some sleeping bunks, with brick walls and a boarded roof we could put spearmen in and a stockpile of rock ammo
